And I fell

She stood tall as she recited and I simply fell in love,

It was like man’s first time talking to a divine being from above.

My thoughts concocted millions of fairytales as they told me a beautiful lie,

But I looked into your words and saw that you and I are birds so we just can’t fly.

And I burnt the bridges before the lie could reach my feed the fairytales into your ears to corrupt the beautiful seed growing inside your mind.

Not cause I didn’t want to share but because your mind is delicate and kind.

I hope and pray it stays that way till faith catches us in it arms just loves perfect distillate.

I don’t want to own the world but be the golden roots that hold you firmly in loves perfect ground.

I don’t be the person you think about but the thought that’s always running through the walls of your mind.

I don’t want you to perfect no I just want you to be worth it,

I don’t want you to strive to be a different person just for me or the world’s perfect woman,

But I need you to be the original version of yourself for that’s my world’s perfect human.

I don’t want to be a champion in understanding how the world functions,

But I want to be the warrior that fights away your sorrows and breaking affections.

I never believed it when I was told that Ive fallen for you.

I used to fight that feeling and tell my mind that its not true,

For you smiled and said hi I fell in love.

With every day that goes by I’ll keep saying I love you.

And ill keep asking God above,

To help me prove that I’m not just saying I love you but that I really do.

I didn’t believe it when people said I fell for you but now I do.
